PISCATUS^3D delivers a specailised 3D seabed mapping products to both deepsea and inshore fishing opperations. These products are Deepsea-Pro and Inshore-Pro. PISCATUS^3D is a compreshensive 3-Dimensional fishing tool that displays exactly what is happening underwater in real-time as you fish.  As your boat steams across the surface PISCATUS^3D continually creates and refines a map of the seafloor into which your boat and fishing marks can be placed, all in real-time.  It takes in information directly from most sounders, GPS and seabed discrimination systems. New in version 4 is the ability to map lakes at higher altitudes than sea level.

PISCATUS RealView^TM

PISCATUS RealView^TM allows you to view your fishing grounds as though you are flying above the boat or on the bottom alongside your gear.  This feature offers five camera views to visualise what you want, the way you want.  You can spin around your boat or gear, zoom in or out, above or below the sea surface - a real-time virtual reality.

PISCATUS^3D comes with eight different colour palettes preloaded to provide different ways of looking at your 3D terrain.  Alternatively, you can create your own colour palettes and apply them to your terrain.  You can choose to have contour lines turned on or off, control the contour interval, the direction and intensity of 3D hill shading, and the vertical scale of your 3D terrain.

PISCATUS^3D has six different scales at which to view your data, these allow you to choose the amount of 3D terrain you wish to see.  PISCATUS^3D Inshore-Pro has 1nm, 2nm, 5nm, 10nm, 20nm and 100nm and  ISCATUS^3D Deepsea-Pro has 5nm, 10nm, 20nm, 30nm, 60nm and 100nm scales available.

PISCATUS^3D also has a unique 2D cross section display of the seabed terrain directly ahead of your boat so you can know exactly where and when to accurately place your gear.

PISCATUS BathymetryNow^TM

PISCATUS^3D BathymetryNow^TM is a real-time dynamic mapping engine that intergrates the supplied bathymetry database with GPS, echo sounding and seabed discrimination data from your vessel.  As your vessel moves across the surface, new information is filtered, groomed, fitted and contoured; updating and refining your map to create a uniquely detailed view of what lies below.  Instantly you get a much clearer understanding of already familiar grounds and a much faster appreciation of new grounds.

PISCATUS^3D Integrated Global Bathymetry

PISCATUS^3D removes the need to comprehensively cover an area to get a complete map by utilising two built in bathymetry databases.  Version 4's new and improved one natuical mile grid cell dataset of the planet based on satelitte altimetry.  This background dataset is kept separate from the boat's actual soundings and once the boat collects real data this built in data is quickly enhanced.

PISCATUS^3D Flexible Plotter Interface

PISCATUS^3D can be used by itself or with a plotter using its flexible plotter interface that allows key features to be shared with your plotter using either dual screens or split screen options.  Key shared features are: map location, ghost cursors, lines, marks and bathymetry contours.  At present, PISCATUS^3D seamlessly integrates with C-Plot Pro and SeaPlot Pro plotters.

PISCATUS^3D also has the facility to create, save and load marks and lines directly in the 3D environment.  Boat tracklines can also be recorded and saved. These important marks, lines and tracklines can also is stored in different plots and individual or groups of plots displayed at any time. To make finding the relevant information quicker.

PISCATUS^3D hardness and roughness mapping

PISCATUS^3D integrates with the worlds most popular seabed discrimination devices, including JRC JFC130, SeaScan and RoxAnn. With these devices and PISCATUS^3D you can map hardness and roughness in the seabed in 3D.

Changes in seabed hardness or roughness are often were bait schools and therefore their predators normally congregate. PISCATUS^3D gives you the ability to accurately maps these hardness and roughness changes and with these information you can place your fishing gear more accurately to increase catch or reduce fishing times.
